Bowl and Cup Workshop

Aimed at Children aged 7 - 13 years.

Unleash their inner artist and have fun in this two hour pottery workshop. We’ll explore exciting techniques, like pinch pots and coil building, to create their very own cup and bowl. Children will discover the joy of working with clay and will be encouraged to let their creativity flow, to make a cup and bowl that they will be proud to use at home.

The workshop will be ran by 2 adults that are DBS checked. You are welcome to drop and go, or stay and have a cuppa in the other room.

Firing of work will take a few weeks as we have to slowly dry out the clay masterpieces and then fire them twice. This allows the work to be dishwasher proof for your ease, but we promise the wait will be worth it.

All tools and equipment will be included, just bring enthusiasm!

Halloween Witch’s hat / Ghost Workshop

Get ready for a spooktacular time at our Halloween pottery workshop! Kids aged 7 - 13 can unleash their inner ghosts and ghouls by creating their very own clay witch’s hat or a friendly ghost. They’ll use cool clay techniques and can paint them with colourful slips. It’s a hauntingly fun way for your child to spend 2 hours getting creative over the October half term.

The workshop will be ran by 2 adults that are DBS checked. You are welcome to drop and go, or stay and have a cuppa in the other room.

Firing of work will take a few weeks, as the clay will have to dry slowly before being fired in a kiln twice, but we promise the wait will be worth it.

All tools and equipment will be included, just bring enthusiasm!

Christmas Decorations Workshop

Get into the holiday spirit at our 2 hour Christmas pottery workshop! Kids aged 7 - 13 can create and decorate their own unique Christmas decorations: perfect for gifting to grandparents or keeping as treasured keepsakes, to adorn your tree every year. It’s a fun and festive way to celebrate the season and make some special clay ornaments.

The workshop will be ran by 2 adults that are DBS checked. You are welcome to drop and go, or stay and have a cuppa in the other room.

Firing of work will take a few weeks, as all work will have to be slowly dried and then fired twice. However we guarantee they will be back in time for Christmas.

All tools and equipment will be included, just bring enthusiasm!

Parent / Carer- don’t worry if you would like to stay and wait while the children get creative! We’ve got you covered with great tea and coffee facilities. And of course biscuits! There is also a delightful selection of handmade mugs to choose from (although picking the perfect mug might take longer than it takes for the kettle to boil).

Our courses are kept small, so you get the full benefit of expert advice while in a cosy friendly setting, with a maximum of 8 children per course. All courses are designed for children, who have always wanted to have a go. Please note that as a small independent studio, we have limited space and can only store fired pieces for up to 12 weeks.

Refund policy

To cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 14 days’ notice before the event. This will then give both parties a chance to reschedule on the nearest convenient session. If less than 14 days’ notice is given prior to the session, then please understand, as we are a small independent ceramic studio we will be unable to issue a refund.
